The Tour was Excellent

I wish to express my heartfelt thanks to Marly Tours for a wonderful Camino. The organisation of the tour was excellent, right down to the "goodie bag" of books, snacks and pilgrim shell. The rural houses where we stayed were well tucked-away, providing little distraction. The daily distances were well-planned, so as not to over-stretch us pilgrims on any given day. The food was also well-chosen, designed to showcase Galician specialties, and we enjoyed every meal.
Carol and Carlos were a great team, good-spirited every day and providing us with encouragement, as well as that little bit of energy to walk a little further every time we needed it. Carlos was the "elder brother" to everyone on the tour, and looked after us well. Carol was a wonderful and caring guide, making the effort to walk with each of us some part of the way. Her presence was also invaluable in the hospital in Lugo when I was there with my dad. Thank you also for your concern about the health of my parents.
We certainly had a Buen Camino, and are not only deeply blessed to have had the opportunity of making this pilgrimage, but are also extremely fortunate to have done so with Marly. Thank you. Warm regards.

Absolutely Amazing

Our week was absolutely amazing - nothing was missed or left out by Marly Tours. Carol and Fanny were like family from the moment we met them until they returned us to Madrid. We are still in touch. This company will not disappoint. The Pilgrimage itself was a time of self discovery. My husband and I walked every step together helping each other along the way. We learned to be patient and attentive to each other when one of us was experiencing physical difficulty. We had long periods of silence together as we walked as well as discussions on family and personal issues we never seem to have time for. We were both in touch with our Spiritual lives through each other, the tranquility, the beauty of Spain, the other Pilgrims we saw or met along way, the difficulties we encountered, the group we were with and of course through our guide Carol and our driver Fanny. We experienced that "Peace and Joy that goes beyond understanding".

Every Need Was Cared For

Marly Camino superbly designed a custom trip for seven of us from two countries and three languages. Each pre-trip email was answered thoroughly with warmth and kindness. From our first orientation in Madrid through the final farewell, Marly insured that every need was cared for, freeing us to explore our personal experiences of the Camino and Galicia. Our driver quickly became an integral part of our group with his friendly professionalism. After hiking, each evening we’d laugh together saying, “This is incredible! How can they top this?” And sure enough - each day topped the one before. The Camino itself was a wonderful experience. Experience I will Carry with me Forever

Marly Tours was awesome in customizing out tour to what we wanted. In addition, we got prompt, specific, willing answers to our questions as we were planning and preparing for the trip. The personal attention was beyond any expectations, all the way to providing tissues and Vicks Vaporub for our feet. The guide provided to us offered great support both for our foot problems as well as supplying fruit, snacks and water with regularity. A Life Experience

My mom and I had wanted to do the pilgrimage for years. I took the tour in part because I was worried that she was not going to be able to finish it because in the past year she had many health issues. The service offered Victor, our driver-guide and Marly was unbeatable. Nothing to fear and tremendous support. Well, the Way is what you said: a life experience. We greatly cherish the memory and Compostela. Although it was difficult, my mom finished without problems and restored her confidence in her physical ability and health. Just for that, which was only a small part, it was all worth it. Do not hesitate, do your Camino!

Nothing short of Wonderful

First, Carlos Alvarez was incredibly helpful. There are few people who would be placing Compeeds on the feet of aging women! He did this on a daily basis for one of our party, and several others needed his help. He did this without complaint and with great kindness. The fact that he had fresh fruit for us on a daily basis, along with plenty of water, was nothing short of wonderful.The accommodations were very beautiful. I know that different people require/desire different levels and types of hotel, and I think good choices were made to provide that variety. Your packet of provisions was excellent, and much appreciated. The walking, for me, was a great joy, and was not excessive. I also liked having several places where we stayed for more than one day. That was nice. I hope this is helpful, and I wish you well!

Superlative Camino!

We had a superlative camino with you. It more than exceeded our expectations in all respects. We had not expected to have such fun. For my own part, I will never forget my birthday celebration on the final night - it surpassed all others to date. The atmosphere was tremendous. We loved the atmosphere of the accommodation. We each had favorite days of walking (some enjoyed the strenuous climbs, others enjoyed more the flat paths!) I think every member of our group will say that traveling with Carlos (our guide), being cared for by Carlos, and getting to know Carlos was one of the best parts of our journey. He is a delightful, knowledgeable, and fun person! He quickly became aware of each group member's abilities, preferences, etc. and always tried to accommodate each of us.

"I completed the Buen Camino Tour in April this year. It was an unforgettable experience. The welcome, accommodation and transport were all first class. The daily distances were well planned. Everyone walked at their own pace but either Fernandez or Marly caught up with us at various times during the day to check all was OK. Everyone was very friendly and being a single Australian woman with a group of Venezuelan pilgrims heightened the total experience for me. Their were many memorable times but stopping in Melide for octopus, or for a coffee break along the way, and the rest of our group catching up was great. The meals along the way were joyous occasions as we all shared our days adventures. The Mass at the Cathedral was an emotional time and then the farewell dinner at Santiago was also very special.
