We like to keep our groups small to assure personalized attention. Our groups are of maximum 14 people.
During our VIP Camino you will be able to enjoy its magic and spirituality starting from the beautiful city of Leon and closing with the spectacular Santiago de Compostela. Our intention is that you see the most interesting places that the route has to offer while staying in the highest quality, most typical accommodations.
We will walk for 8 days. The stages will be very comfortable and flexible ones, avoiding the hardest parts of the Camino. In the last stage we will arrive walking to Santiago. We will visit cities, towns, cathedrals, plazas, picturesque and charming places that we will come across during this attractive journey, all while tasting the best food of the region. This will be done in small groups in order to offer direct and personal treatment and so you can benefit from a comfortable and safe pilgrimage.
We want our VIP Camino experience to be pleasantly unforgettable, which is why we stay in the best accommodations: National Inns, and charming rural houses that offer all the amenities of a four-star hotel.
Our meeting point will be in the beautiful city of Leon at the luxurious Parador de San Marcos. We will have a welcome lunch where we will taste the Leon's most wonderful specialties and We will also enjoy a guided visit through this beautiful city
We will visit the beautiful city of Astorga, situated in the province of Leon, which offers a very rich medieval legacy given its location: the crossing between the Camino de Santiago and the 'Vía de la Plata' route.
We will also visit Castrillo de los Polvazares, also a town in the province of León considered an artistic and historical center. Then we move through the region of Bierzo, the region of greatest personality of Spain.
We will visit and walk through ‘Las Medulas’, the largest gold mine of the Roman Empire, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its archeological wealth. ‘Las Medulas’ was the largest gold mine in the Roman Empire where they continued to extract gold for more than two hundred years.
We end the day in Villafranca del Bierzo, where we will spend the night and have a wonderful tasting menu with different products from El Bierzo while tasting wines from different regions of Spain, all in the company of a winemaker who we will explain to us what we taste.
We will begin our pilgrimage in O Cebreiro, which is the beginning of the Camino de Santiago in Galicia. This town is located 1,300 meters high, where we will see 'Las Pallozas'(constructions of stone and hay) presumably of Celtic origin. Stone houses that remind us of the past are also the main buildings of this mountainous area. The stages are as follows:

Triacastela - Sarria (19 km)
Sarria - Porto Marín (17.7 km)
Porto Marín - Palas de Rei (24.3 km)
Palas de Rei - Boente (21 km)
Boente - Salceda (19 km)
Salceda - Monte de Gozo (23.5 km)
Monte de Gozo - Santiago de Compostela (4.4 km)
The arrival to Santiago is calculated before 11:00 am, so that those who wish to attend the pilgrim mass and perform any pilgrim rituals like hugging the Apostle Santiago can do so. In the evening: We will have a divine farewell surprise accompanied by dinner.
We will a have tour to Finisterre (literally meaning ‘end of the Earth’), the place where the known part of Earth was believed to end, at the Non Plus Ultra door. It is considered the most Western point of the continent of Europe.
Pilgrims end their Camino de Santiago pilgrimage through Galicia at the lighthouse of Finisterre. It is tradition to burn some article of clothing or shoes used during the Camino as a signal of purification by throwing the ashes to the sea.
In the morning we offer a guided visit through Santiago for our group and then our wonderful tour comes to an end.
Meals: We have selected the included meals carefully so you have a taste of the most typical, most delicious cuisine. For the few meals that aren't included, depending on your tastes and preferences, you have a chance to experiment and choose on your own. Vegetarians, vegans, or those with a gluten-free diet can always find suitable options. Just let us know before hand and we will be happy to adjust to your needs.
Accommodation: All our accommodations are carefully selected, Paradores or charming manors or hotels with quality en suite bedrooms along the Camino. The first night you will stay at the 5- star Parador de León, one of Spain's most beautiful Renaissance buildings. The manors are traditional Galician houses, usually in rural spaces, that used to be the home of important people in the community in the past such as kings or noblemen. In Santiago the last night we will stay in the wonderful Hotel Monumento San Francisco which was the San Francisco Convent in the year 1214. Here you will find a fusion of the tranquility and peace of a convent with the comfort of a modern hotel.
They form part of the cultural experience. Usually they are located in privileged areas surrounded with green, peaceful scenery. We know all the owners personally, and you can be sure you will receive the personalized attention and service you deserve.
Walking: You walk at your own pace. There is no one you have to follow or walk with. We have meeting points along the way where the support vehicle is waiting with snacks, fruits and water. We also offer assistance for any unexpected circumstances or simply to relieve muscular pain or cure blisters.
If you do not want to keep walking for any reason, you can hop on the support vehicle or be taken back to the hotel. You mustn't worry about getting lost as the yellow arrows always lead the way. Moreover, on the Camino you are never alone.
After the daily walk you will have a much deserved break. In the afternoon, pilgrims who wish to do so can visit places of interest found in the area.
