Cancellation Insurance
With our cancellation insurance, you will be covered in case of cancellation of your travel due to health reasons, legal, labor or extraordinary reasons.Our cancellation insurance is detailed as follows:

Meals
All breakfasts and all dinners are included in our Portuguese Coast Camino. We have carefully chosen every meal so you can have a taste of the most typical and delicious, local cuisine. Lunches are not included to provide more flexibility during your walk, we encourage you to try the local foods in the towns you will walk by or have lunch at the end of the daily stage. Vegetarians, vegans, or those with a special diet (e.g. gluten-free) can always find suitable options. Just let us know beforehand and we will be happy to provide great alternatives.
Accommodation
We are sure you will absolutely love all the wonderful accommodations on our Portuguese Camino. We have personally selected all our accommodations to give you the best possible experience. During the Camino we will spend the night at wonderful National Paradores and the most charming Manor Houses. They are located in beautiful rural areas surrounded by lush, peaceful scenery to give you a complete cultural experience. All of our accommodations have en suite bathrooms. You can be sure to receive personalized attention and excellent service from the owners, who will make you feel right at home. Walk at your own pace
Everyone walks at their own pace and you will be met by our guides and support vehicle at various checkpoints along each stage. At the checkpoints you can enjoy a snack, fruit and cold beverages and our guides will assist you in case you need anything else. We also offer assistance for any emergencies or simply to relieve muscular pain or cure blisters.If for any reason you do not want to continue walking, our support vehicle is at your disposal. You won't have to worry about not finding your way as there will always be yellow arrows to point the way. You will never feel alone on the Camino as there will be other Pilgrims on the way. After the walk and lunch we will go back to the day's accommodation to freshen up and enjoy some well-deserved rest.
Before and After
Before: Our tour starts in the city of Porto. You can arrive a few days before the tour to enjoy the city if you’d like. We would be happy to help you with extra hotel reservations.After: Our tour ends in Santiago de Compostela at around 1:00 pm on the last day. Transportation back to Porto or other cities is NOT included. We can offer advice about how to get to your next destination and assist you with additional hotel nights.
We offer optional add-on activities once the tour is finished like a one-day trip to Finisterre, culinary activities in Santiago and other wonderful cultural experiences. You can join one of our activities, stay in Santiago on your own, or finish your trip on the last day of the tour.
Means and Assistance
Private support vehicle
You will have a support vehicle throughout your Camino. You can use it if you are tired or if you don’t want to keep walking for any reason, if you want to leave or take things during your walk or if you want to change your shoes. Our van is equipped with a first aid kit, medicines, snacks, water and fruits. This vehicle will cover any unexpected circumstances.
Guides
Our guides have an enormous human quality. They have lived the Camino experience themselves, being able to anticipate your needs and help you physically and emotionally during the Camino. Our guides share anecdotes that will help you better understand the meaning of the Camino. They cure blisters and accompany you to the doctor if needed.
Insurances
All of our tours include travel insurance, which will be very useful in case you have an emergency during your Camino. Also, we offer cancellation insurance at a special price, which will vary depending on your Camino.
Pilgrim's Kit
We prepare you for your walk by sending you a packing list with recommendations on what to bring along on your trip, and provide a backpack with our Pilgrim’s Kit (Click here to view) that includes: Your Pilgrim's Passport, the shell, a Marly Camino program with reflections and waterproof Route Map, a waterproof pouch, notebook, snacks and more!
